There is one thing that I find incredibly difficult to find. Wall lights. Not just any wall lights, interesting ones, lights that grab your attention and make a scheme come to life. There are lots of amazing wall lights from high-end suppliers such as Porta Romana and Vaughan that I’ve used a lot and they are brilliant in the right scheme but sometimes its nice to put something unexpected and, as Abigail Ahern say, “a little off”.
Now, I understand that some of these antique lights might not immediately grab your attention. In fact, you may think I am crazy with a couple of them but, in the right scheme, these lights would look amazing. From the antique Italian glass in a sophisticated sitting room, to a run of the Matthew Cox copper lights in a kitchen – these wall lights all really caught my eye and so I thought I would share them with you.
My personal favourite are the long (90cm) tubular Italian glass lights from antiques company, Roomscape. What about you? Let me know in the comments box below – I’d love to hear from you!
