Agate Interior Accessories

Having always been a fan of using natural materials in interiors, I have noticed the trend for agate interior accessories slowly creep into fashion in the past couple of years. Agate is a natural, ornamental stone that is made up of layers of quartz and comes in a huge variety of colours. Each piece has a huge spectrum of colours within it as well – dramatic dark tones combined with lighter, earthier neutrals blend in easily with many schemes and add glamour and elegance to a scheme without it looking too ‘blingy’. From agate bookends, lamps, tables and slices of it on stands, it is making a big impression this season. I’ve compiled a few of my favourite pieces below, as well as a couple of images of how they can be used.
